Class 0 have a maximum operating voltage of 1000V and are tested to 5,000V.
All our electricians gloves and gauntlets are compliant with the specifications of the European standard EN60903:2003 and the international standard IEC60903:2002.
Class 0 insulating gloves are 1mm (+0.6mm/-0mm) thick and are resistant to acid, ozone and very low temperatures (represented by their category rating, AZC). For further information on the testing procedures used please contact us. All our electricians gloves, once purchased, shoul be subjected regularly to air leakage tests and visual inspections - an offical re-test is not mandatory for Class 0 rated gloves.
Our insulating gloves are made from 100% latex, have a smooth (internal and external) finish, are yellow in colour and are anatomically shaped for comfort and ease of use. Each pair of gloves will be marked with specific information as follows: the IEC triangular symbols, references of the Standards with which they comply (EN and IEC), the class and category which they fall into, name of the manufacturer, month and year of manufacture, batch number, size and the identification number for the body accredited to monitor the quality system of the manufacturer.
Following each use, the insulating gloves should be returned to their protective packaging; please see our FAQ section for guidance on cleaning the product.
