This particular option, class 00, have a maximum operating voltage of 500V, and are tested to 2500V.
All our insulating gloves for electrical works comply with the specifications of the European standard EN60903:2003 and the international standard IEC 60903:2002.
This class of glove, Class 00, is 0.5mm (+0.6mm/-0mm) in thickness and has resistance to acid, ozone and very low temperatures (category AZC). For information on testing procedures please contact us. The gloves, once purchased, should be subjected to a regular air leakage test and visual inspection; an official re-test is not mandatory for the Class 00 rating of electricians gloves.
All gloves are manufactured from 100% latex, are yellow in colour with a smooth finish, and are anatomically shaped for comfort. Each pair of gloves shows the IEC symbol (demonstrating their suitability for live working), the references for the Standards with which they comply, the class of glove and category, the manufacturer's name, month and year of production, the size of the gloves, the batch number, and the identification number of the notified body monitoring the quality system of the manufacturer.
After use the insulating gloves should be replaced in their protective packaging. Please see our FAQ section for advice on cleaning electricians gloves, should they become dirty.
