Class 3 insulating gloves provide protection to a maximum working voltage of 26,000V and are tested to 30,000V. This class of glove is available in both 41cm and 36cm length; for the 36cm option, please click here.
Electrician's gloves to Class 3 are manufactured with a wall thickness of 2.9mm (+0.6mm/-0mm), and offer resistance to acid, ozone, oil and very low temperatures (category RC); for detail on the test procedures, please contact us. Your electrical safety gloves (including any held in storage) should be electrically re-tested a maximum of 6 months from their previous test; for information regarding our re-test service, please contact us.
Our insulating gloves are manufactured using 100% latex, have a smooth, yellow finish and are anatomically shaped for comfort and ease of use. Each pair of gloves will be marked with the following details: the IEC symbol (signifying suitability for live working); IEC and EN Standards with which the gloves comply; size, category and class of the gloves; name and batch number of the manufacturer; month and year of production; identification of the organisation responsible for monitoring the manufacturer's quality systems; an area for the recording of first use and dates of periodic inspection.
Your electrician's gloves should be returned to their protective packaging following each use; for information on how to clean them, please view our FAQ page.
