This particular option on Electrical Safety Matting is 6mm thick and tested to 11KV.  The working voltage of this switchboard matting is 450V. It is available in 3 standard widths according to your requirements, each of which can be found on this site.  All electrical safety matting will be supplied with a certificate of conformity.

Our electrical switchboard matting is made from high quality natural rubber compound and is black in colour.  All our electrical switchboard matting is ribbed on the face, providing an anti-slip surface to ensure paramount safety levels, as well as protection from electric shocks.

Electrical mats are used throughout all industries for the safety of operators and maintenance staff to insulate against electrical shock; the electrical mats can be cut to size either by us prior to your purchase, or from the roll on site if you prefer to hold a stock.  If you choose to cut the mat to size to suit your working area, be aware that the minimum sized electrical mat you should be using is 900mm x 900mm.  Both thicknesses of electrical safety matting can be cut to the size of mat you require using a sharp knife.

Electrical safety matting has a minimum required thickness in order to provide protection adequate for the voltages involved; it is therefore reasonably heavy by nature and as such, larger quantities (anything over 2-3m) may have to be palletised.  If you believe you may require a replacement or additional lengths of matting in the future, it can therefore prove more cost-effective to purchase several lengths or rolls at one time.
