This Electrical Safety Matting is 9.5mm thick, is tested to 15KV and manufactured to the BS:921 specification.  The working voltage of this switchboard matting is 650V.  All our electrical mats are available in 3 standard widths for you to select the one which closest fits your requirements. Our electrical mats are made from a very high quality natural rubber compound and the finished product is black in colour.  The mats are ribbed on the surface, providing the additional bonus of the flooring being anti-slip, and also inherently has anti-fatigue properties, adding to both the safety and comfort of your staff.

Electrical safety matting is used throughout industry to insulate operators, maintenance staff and contractors against electrical shock.   The matting can be purchased as a cut length to fit the working area, or bought on a full roll or longer length and cut to size on site using a sharp knife. Please note that all mats should be cut to a minimum size of 900mm x 900mm.

Due to the requirements of electrical matting to insulate, it is a fairly heavy product and as such, and length over 2-3 metres (depending on the other dimensions) may have to be shipped on a pallet.  It can thus prove to be more cost-effective to buy a larger quantity if you are aware of a future need for further lengths or mats.
